One of my friends purchased a pool table last month. I was having a word with him on his experience so far with the pool table. Our conversation helped me out with some great information which is worth sharing. He briefed me on certain indispensable accessories required with the pool table.

The first on the list was billiard cloth. Any pool table requires some amount of maintenance for a smooth flow of pool cues. The cloth used on the table should be of good quality so that the balls can have a smooth roll across the table after each shot. Another accessory required is the Billiard rack. They help you rack up the balls before game. They are used for different games of pool, such as eight-ball, one pocket, bank pool, straight pool, snooker and other billiard games. The series of racks may include triangular and diamond shaped. Other very important pool table accessories may include rail rubbers. They are generally located on the sides of your playing area. They are used so that the ball can rebound off them and not get away from the table. Other important accessories of pool table include billiard brush and pool table covers. Most amazingly some of these features are also used in table tennis tables.
